So, I figured out the Jessica Simpson hair - it's actually pretty easy. Apparently there were instructions inside the box that I somehow missed but my hairstylist showed me how to put them in and it was embarassingly easy - although you do have to really get your fingers into your hair and start with the middle clips and go outwards.
