The shirt-dress - is there anything more effortless?

Who doesn't love shirt-dresses? They're universally flattering and, depending on the material, can be worn across seasons. Theory, one my favorite clothing brands, has a beautiful one in eggplant, a hot color this season. H&M also has a purple shirt-dress, at a much more accessible price-point (only $34.95!) - check it out at H&M stores. It's very similar to this Theory dress - the big difference is that H&M's purple shirt-dress has a skirt with a slightly narrower a-line.
